My Favorite Santa Sleigh Wreck Christmas Specials

I had the chance to talk with Uncle Henry on Newsradio 710AM and iHeartradio app to talk about my favorite Christmas Specials. WARNING: my favorite specials are usually from my childhood and are sublimely "so bad" that they are "so good." Enjoy this list of Holiday Santa Sleigh Wrecks of Mirth and Joy!

A Very Brady Christmas

Pretty sure this is when offscreen Florence Henderson gave Barry

Williams (Greg) a very special Holiday present - HO HO HO!!!! If you know

what I mean.

Voyage of the Damned - Dr. Who - 2008 -2010

A terrible Dr Who Posiden Adverture knockoff set in space with a terrible

villain, lousy script, lame plot and easily the worst companion.

Christmas Comes to Pac-Land - 1982

Bad Christmas Special and featuring the OS SO POPULAR PacMan

saving Christmas by eating Power Pellets - which look like pills and drugs

and all during Nancy Reagan’s kick off of Just Say No campaign

The Year Without a Santa Claus

2006 - remake of the Rankin-Bass classic

John Goodman as a world-weary St. Nick who contemplates throwing in

the towel on the whole Christmas thing.

TMNT: We Wish You a Turtle Christmas - 80-90s

Turtles buying their master Splinter a Christmas gift at the last minute

Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey - 1977

Sounds like what it is — a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ripoff & it is

Casper’s First Christmas - 80s

Yogi Bear and friends turn up to help Casper celebrate his very first

Christmas! Plus - Casper is a DEAD CHILD that can’t move on to an afterlife - why

does no one talk about this horrible horrible character

How sad and creepy!!!

THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS: XMAS MARKS THE SPOT - 80s

The boys travel back in time to Victorian London and unwittingly 'bust the

ghosts of Dickens' classic story. Without these paranormal conscience

correctors, Scrooge never changes his ways, and when the Ghostbusters

make it back to their own time they find that Ebeneezer's war on Christmas

has eradicated the festive season altogether.

Every pop culture TV phenomenon has made a Dickens knockoff - this one

is my favorite next to SCROOGED the MOVIE - which includes Bill Murray

however Bill is not the voice of the Ghostbusters cartoon.

ALF’s Special Christmas - 1987

Network TV Christmas special is a joyless affair that comes complete with

a crying widowed husband, a suicidal cabbie and ALF telling a dying kid

there in no Santa!
