I love October! First of all the climate that resembles the 5th ring of Hell in my hometown of South Hell Mobile, Alabama drops to feels to more like the front door. Halloween custom planning starts, Alabama football is five wins into another championship run, and 31 days of Inktober.
Jake Parker created Inktober in 2009 as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. Every October, artists all over the internet have joined him by taking on the Inktober drawing challenge of doing one ink drawing a day (sparked by a prompt word) the entire month. Anyone, of any drawing skill, can do this daily doodle.
Please join me on this beautiful challenge this Inktober month. I dare ya!
1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
2) Post it on the social media of your choosing
3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2018
